Abstract
Acrylic acid derivatives are important chemicals found in cosmetics, coatings, adhesives, and others. Moreover, these substances are widely used in the development of new bioactive molecules against various diseases such as schistosomiasis, tuberculosis, malaria, and cancer. Owing to the importance of this building block in many fields of chemistry, we herein report a fast and easy multigram scale synthesis of some acrylic acid derivatives viaultrasound irradiation.
