Alessandra Campbell Pinheiro

Graduated in Industrial Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2001) and PhD in Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2010), with a doctoral internship at the Center National de la Recherche Scientifique-CNRS; Paris, France. She is currently a researcher in health sciences at Farmanguinhos, Fundação Oswaldo Cruz. She has experience in research, development and innovation in the field of chemistry, with an emphasis on organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry, working mainly on the following topics: cancer, leishmaniasis and tuberculosis
