She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the Fluminense Federal University (1995), a Master’s degree (1998) and a Doctorate (2003) in Organic Chemistry from the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF). She was a substitute professor in the Department of Organic Chemistry at UFF. He is currently a research technologist at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology, Farmanguinhos and permanent professor of the Professional Master in Management, Research and Development in the Farmer’s Industry, Farmanguinhos. She has experience in the field of chemistry, with emphasis on organic synthesis, acting mainly on the synthesis of heterocycles and molecules with potential antimalarial and / or antiretroviral activity and substances with potential activity against tuberculosis
