Bachelor in Pharmacy (UNESA), Master in Science (Chemistry) from the Institute of Chemistry (UFRJ), work developed under the guidance of Prof Dr Simon John Garden. He has experience in the areas of medicinal chemistry, organic chemistry with an emphasis on organic synthesis, working on the following topics: chemical transformations in pyrene, friedel-crafts alkylation and acylation reactions, onepot reactions, synthesis of chalcones, synthesis of pyridines via Chichibabin reaction and Kröhnke. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Translational Research Program in Pharmaceuticals and Medicines at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz-Farmanguinhos) under the guidance of Prof. Dr Marcus Vinicius Nora de Souza.
